The call for candidates for the PMI-Montreal Board of Directors elections is currently taking place!

Profiles sought:

This year, five (5) Director positions are to be filled for a two-year term.

The Board of Directors is looking to enrich its team with expertise in:

  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Corporate social responsibility (CSR)
  • Cybersecurity
  • Risk management
  • Change management
  • Philanthropy

If you have a passion for developing the profession and would like to put your expertise to work for PMI-Montreal, we invite you to apply!

 

Requirements and commitments:

As a board member, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Actively participate in Board meetings and the Annual General Meeting.
  • Share your expertise and get involved in various strategic committees.
  • Ensure the proper management and achievement of PMI-Montreal’s mission.
  • Ensure the organization complies with the law, its bylaws, and PMI’s charter.
  • Take governance training to enhance your skills.
  • Dedicate a minimum of 70 hours per year to these responsibilities (meetings, committees, preparation for meetings, event participation, representation, etc.).

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Be a member in good standing with PMI and PMI-Montreal as of December 21, 2024, and throughout your term.
  • Not be employed by an ATP (Authorized Training Partner) of the Project Management Institute.

 

Electoral Process:

  • The nomination period will run from February 10 to March 10, 2025, at 5 p.m.
  • The online voting period will take place from March 21 to April 11, 2025.
  • The results will be announced at the Annual General Meeting on April 23, 2025.

How to submit your candidacy:

  1. Download and review the PMI-Montreal’s bylaws.
  2. Obtain support from at least two members of the association.
  3. Complete the required fields in the Nomination Form and Presentation Bulletin.
  4. Choose a recent professional photo.
  5. Submit your complete candidacy to communications@pmimontreal.org before 5 p.m. on March 10, 2025.
